Short Summary
Nice camprground, very friendly people. Would definitely recommend to friends. Boating, swimming, wooded and sunny sites, back in and pull thru. Pets allowed.
Comments:
We had site 65 - a cozy, back-in wooded site. Felt very private w/ the trees and bushes around us. Elaine was able to provide good info on driving directions and suggestions on where to go. Everyone we met was very friendly. Wanted to use the swimming dock but we were too busy going places. We did rent a canoe one night and paddled about the lake - very nice. The game room is arcade games. The store has a great lending library. Some of the sunny site picnic tables are covered w/ bug lights and electrical outlets. Did not use the bathrooms or showers as our 5th wheel is more than adequate for us. Close to town in case you need Wal-Mart or Rite Aid. Very easy to get too off I-95. About .5 hr to Bangor, 1.5 hr from Belfast, about 2 hr from Bar Harbor. There's a railroad at the edge and it was fun to see the occasional train go by. Would definitely recommend this cmpgrnd to anyone going in that area.
