| Short Summary |
typical KOA in country setting |
Comments: Conveniently located only a couple miles from I-80 - far enough away to avoid road noise but easy to get to for an overnight. Located on a country road by a cow pasture. When we were there one of the cows "escaped" into the campground, but campers and local farmer on ATV herded it back to the other side of the fence. Sites small & tight w/ shared hookups. Pullthru sites may not end up being pullthru, as they park 2, sometimes 3 campers in the same (long) site. The one in the middle isn't going anywhere until one of the others leaves!
Friendly managers, though, and clean facilities. Decent for an overnight stop,or base camp in the LaSalle/Utica/Peru area.
