Short Summary
Convenient Overnight I-75
Comments:
This is an overall nice campground for an overnight or two while travelling on I-75. It is an older campground and a bit "rough around the edges" and in need of infrastructure upgrading. There appears to be many permanent residents. Sites are adequate width and terraced on a hill; moderate levelling with blocks is necessary which detracts somewhat from its appeal as an overnight spot. However, it is very convenient to I-75 and quiet. It has a small pond onsite and many tall pine trees. Sites are grassy/dirt. Wifi is available. Staff are very nice and serve pancakes in the morning. We stay here on most north-south trips and always wish they would upgrade a basically attractive property to accomodate big rigs and the needs of highway overnighters for level pull-thrus. We would not stay here at the "highway rate" but the Passport America discount makes it too good to pass up!
