Comments:
We called the owner- Camp Nazi !! Need I say more!! The owner was constantly on patrol to enforce the rules, but the problem was the rules that she was enforcing were not written down anywhere!! She is not friendly to people and seemed to take joy in trying to make you miserable. She is a recent widow and appeared to take her issues out on everyone else. The man who mows- would blow the grass and rocks in toward your camper, causing many nicks in the paint and chewing up our carpet!! When we complained we were then picked on more. It is a lovely spot and it is too bad that the owner is such a miserable person. We also felt that she charged us too much for electricity, but had no way to prove it. She refuses camping to a black couple and a van on Mexican workers, she had open sites. She was quite proud of this and boasted that her campground would remain white. I reported this to the better business bureau. So save your vacation for some other place!! She will make you miserable and treat you like a small child who is constantly breaking immaginary rules!!
