Comments: I would have taken a photo of this place IF I had stayed. Despite being dog-tired from a day's drive, we felt compelled to leave. The property entrance is attractive; but staff asked us to SIGN a long list of rules prior to parking. This was due to a long history of abuses. Most of the rules were common sense, so it was difficult to think about the kind of folks who would violate such basic rules of conduct. Be that as it may--this is an old park with many residents living in old trailers. It is heavily forested in the original section where we were assigned, presumably due to our status as "discount" visitors. Interior roads are dirt--very rough, narrow, bordered by trees and almost impossible to maneuver through. Sites unlevel and not well-marked. we missed ours on the first pass and had to make the frightful journey through the bush a 2nd time. Impossible to get satellite. The electric fluctuated and we refused to hookup for fear of frying our electronics. Staff summoned and did not know what the electrical problem was. They declined to move us anywhere else despite our midweek, offseason visit but were agreeable to returning our money. I returned their list of Rules. We left and later complained to the affiliated campground network. This park CANNOT accommodate a 40'rig without extreme difficulty in the section assigned. Don't try it unless you want to practice "EXTREME RV Parking!" and take your chances with a questionable utility infrastructure that can ruin your rig.
