Comments:
Coe is a great place to camp, there are both the drive in car camp type sites as well as some hike in sites (about 1.5-2 miles in) and all are wonderfull. The sites are Primitive (no showers or flush toilet facilities). There are about 17 sites in the drive in area, cant remember how many at the hike in area, and of course there are the backpacking (wilderness) experience. I have done them all here and dont really have anything negative to say. Sometimes the pit toilets could use some attention, but if you really want to hike up to the main ranger station/visitor area and use the flush toilets. Scenery wise it is mostly oaken, do not expect to find coastal pine forests here, but you must vist in the spring where there are so many species of wild flowers you cant help but be taken in by the beauty of the place.
