Short Summary
Nice place for midweek camping
Comments:
This was an enjoyable campground. Unfortunately all of the elec/water sites are on the reservation system making it a pain. Weekends are very busy and you will have a problem getting an elec/water site if you don't make reservations. Midweek in the spring is a piece of cake. There is a general store and I believe they sell gas and propane. There is also a lounge next to the general store. You won't have cell service here (Verizon) but they do have a pay phone in front of the general store. All of the campsites in North Campground and Bell point have elec/water with a 3 sided and covered shelter sitting on a cement pad with a picnic table. Nearby is a campfire ring/grill. Some sites have a view of the lake. A dump station is located just past North Campground at the entrance of Bell Point CG. There are other developed and non amenity campsites scattered around the lake.
