Comments:
I just returned from deep river campground in asheboro north carolina.I planned to stay 4 days, but after being their for a few hours I come to the conclusion that DEEP RIVER CAMP GROUND IS A DUMP!!! I should paid closer attention to the form i signed it said, "no refund".I was not shown the site before hand.I made the mistake of paying sight unseen. The owner never offered to show me the site so i figured every thing was fine until i got to the site. The only part of the site that was level was the part the camper set on.When i tried to get my money back he laughed and said "you signed the form"I PICKED UP THE FORM AND THREW IT AT HIM AND LEFT.I WENT TO HIGH ROCK LAKE CAMP GROUND WHILE THE OWNER KEPT MY 100.00,HE NEVER EVEN ATTEMTED TO OFFER ANY KIND SATISFACTION OR TRIED TO PUT US IN A BETTER SITE. If you are looking for a campground in north carolina, go to a campground that is a state park like Stone Mountain or similar. I went to other campgrounds in the area and gathered info and found out DEEP RIVER CAMPGROUND IS THE ONLY ONE THAT HAS "NO REFUND" ON THEIR FORMS.DEEP RIVER CAMPGROUND IS A DUMP.
