Short Summary
Nice campground
Comments:
We camped at Blackhawk several times. We would definitely go back again. The place is clean and the people are friendly. The showers are free, but you have to push a button in and when it pops out, the water goes off. Alittle difficult, especially for kids. Nice changing area in each shower.

The sites are wooded and private and fairly large. We didn't like the metal fire rings. Would prefer a real campfire.

Nice beach. We had our labrador who loves to swim, but no dogs are allowed on the beach. There is no pool, so theres really not much else to do there. The game room was mediocre at best, with 3 or four old arcade games that barely worked during our stay and a claw machine that was broken with lame prizes anyways.

Camp store has somewhat fair prices and a good supply of those sometimes forgotten items. Wood is alittle expensive for the amount you get. Laundry room was convenient.

Some planned activites on scheduled weekends. Fair price - nice people - nice place.
