We found this place on a whim...and we were so glad we did. We wanted to reserve a site for the following month, but they were booked for the sites we were interested in. : (
The location is terrific. It's on Conway Lake and is a relatively private campground. Our campsite was right on the water...it was great. We fished from our campsite!! The sites are a bit small, that was the only drawback. The rec hall isn't too bad. They had ping pong, pool tables, air hockey, foosball, small "movie theater". They play movies every night. They also have a few video games. The camp store is pretty well equipped and is open nice and late! I wish they had opened a bit earlier though so I could get my coffee earlier! LOL We were able to rent a rowboat and tie it up right at our campsite. The employees were super friendly!! They were excellent with my 8 year old son! Quiet hours were decent.
The fishing was pretty good. We caught some good sized largemouth bass, perch and a few sunfish.
I would recommend this place and I will go back again!
