Comments:
FYI- I had a horrible experience with the owners of koa northwest chicago, I had reserved a cabin for 4 nights and a couple of days before my reservation was involved in a car accident with my two kids who were injured and the 16 year old girl totaled my car, well to make a long story short I realized they had a cancelation policy which stated that you had to cancel 7days before your date of stay. So when I explained the situation to the owner he said I agreed to the policy's terms and conditions and there's no exceptions. Needless to say he wouldn't refund my deposit and on top of that he said I would be billed for another night!!! And I told him that on koa's website does not say anything about being charged for another night. I even read him the exact wording on the website but he didn't care and when I got off the phone with him he charged my credit card 61.00 without my authorization!!! Do NOt stay at this con artist's campground!!!! Anyone have anything like this happen to them
