Short Summary
close to Portland, Freeport area.
Comments:
Campground is close to Portland area. Also close to Jetport so there is a lot of noise from jets flying over. Campground itself is also quite noisy in areas. Outside groups use picnic area and beach so there are a lot more people and noise than you'd expect. Public area where they do karoke etc. is in the middle of the campground and not far from our site (F4) and was extremely loud and annoying. Sites are rather haphazard so it's a little hard to figure out site boundaries. Lake was small but pleasant for kayaking or fishing. We probably wouldn't stay again only because we like a little more privacy and quiet. Lots of seasonal sites.
