Comments:
This is a wonderful little city-owned campground on the edge of the golf course and lake. We like to stay there for the golfing, as well as the 4-wheel trails in the area. There is a clubhouse with full restaurant service. The "old" sites have plenty of room for 2 units, which is allowed so long as both pay. They are shaded and spacious. The new sites are on blacktop pads, with sewer connections.
We ride our bikes into the small town, about 1.5 miles one-way. They raised their rates this year: a week is $70 in old section, slightly more in new. Nightly rates are $16 and $18.
