I have never run into person providing service to customers who is such a tyrannt as Bob Horton. He enjoys finding fault in people so he can impose his "rules" on them and give them a hard time. He does not care one bit about providing a pleasant experience for families. At the next campground we went to (Adventure Bound - North Truro Camping Area - highly recommended) we heard several horror stories about Horton's from people who also left mid stay simply for some peace and relaxation. It is a shame anyone should have to experience a person like this while on vacation. If you already booked - cancel! Stay far away from Horton's.
