Short Summary
Great Family camping with lots to do.
Comments:
Great camp site for family camping. It is right off a main highway road but still offers tranquility in the forest. It is right next to a large Sequoia Redwood grove which offers a 1.5 mile hike around the grove on a well groomed trail which offers wheelchair access or stroller access. You can also drive about 20 minutes to the Stanislas river which offers great pools for swimming and they plant it regularly with Rainbow trout. The campsites are all around a nice meadow which in the summer provides plenty of mosquitoes but in the fall it wasn't a problem. All in all it is a great place to stay. Lots of activities to keep the whole family happy. The bathrooms where a little rundown where we were staying but they were in the process of building a new bathroom when we were there.
