Comments:
This park was recently purchased and the new owners are renovating the bathroom/showers, clearing the back camping area, etc. The clubhouse is very large; Bingo and Sunday services are held there. There is a large screen TV, video games, pool table, ping pong, games, and a "library". Our full hook-up site was level and located near one of the many streams that flow through this campground. The lake is nice and the views of the Blue Ridge Mountains are beautiful. The only draw back was the rough road leading to the campground. Apparently the State of Virginia is not responsible for the paving/patching of the road. While we were at Stoney Creek (10 days), the management did fill the pot holes in the road (Lake Rd). This campground will be a beautiful resort when it is completely renovated. We were not required to sign any "contract" as stated in a previous review.
