Short Summary
Clean, beautiful, quiet
Comments:
We camped with our 4 wheel drive suv, pop-up camper and kayak 05-20-08 thru 05-25-08. They have wooded sites and open sites. All have electric and water. Some have cable tv and sewer. The campground has free wi-fi. It is SO far north that cell phones don't work there however. May was perfect with only 4 sites sold because of the early dates. Bathrooms were clean. Everything was painted perfectly. Campground roads were crushed rock and gravel, no ruts. Sites were mostly level. We kayaked every day on Lake Superior and Lake Fanny Hooe. It is very remote, quiet and beautiful. Buy gas before you get that far North. ($4.46 in Copper Harbor). I hope we can go back again someday.
