Comments:
I camped at Kayuta Lake Campground for the first time in about 4 years -
New Owners have taken over and from all that I can see, Wonderful things are happening! We pulled in on Friday afternoon, and everywhere were Happy kids! The park was full of laughing children, the tennis courts, basketball courts and volley ball courts were clean and in use. I was greeted by the new owners, happy to meet me!
I have to say it felt much like I was pulling into a Disney movie or a set up commercial.

We had a terrific time the whole weekend, They had a full itinerary, Movies, band, karaoke, Ice cream social, Hay rides nightly, There was NO STALKING, OR CHASING YOU DOWN, NO FLASHLIGHT PATROL. We were able to chat and laugh by the fire until late in the evening, NO COMPLAINTS.
On the other hand, if you needed help or needed to ask a question, Help was easily found, All Campground Staff or helpers wear Labeled Kayuta shirts. They are everywhere but not underfoot. The Store (although it was the beginning of the season) was fully stocked, and with specialty items, such as ice cream, nachos, popcorn and "Icees" or "Slushies" drinks and anything else a camper might need.
For those of you who have been here in previous years, You will notice the Pride that has been put into this place by the New Owners Karin and Mike Caccavale.
This place has come alive with excitement, a wonderful Family place to vacation or just visit for the weekend.
I am looking forward to my next trip. To my friends and fellow campers - I would hope that you will join me.
