Comments:
Very POOR, if nonexistent, customer service. The people who run it do NOT know what the hell they are doing..

We reserved and paid for 2 nights at this campground. On the second night, we returned around 9:00PM (we were there for the Folk Fest) to find a big camper parked on our campsite. We talked with owner of the camper who was very nice and apologetic. He said he was given this particular campsite when he checked in.

The after-hours telephone number they provided was totally useless as no one answered the phone. We attempted to call several times. The incident totally ruined our weekend plans as we had to go home prematurely.

The following day when there was somebody finally available to talk to, the lady was as helpful as a tree stump (take that back, a tree stump would be more helpful). No apologies for their screw up. Just a "too-bad-it-happened-attitude" which makes me think this is not a too uncommon incident for them. She tried to blame us by saying they did not know that was our site. HELLO!!! THEY were the ones who assigned the site to us AND that site was PAID for by us that night. I even had a receipt and a paper she had written the site number on (oh yeah, we checked and double checked the site # against our receipt, just in case - and so did the other guy they rented the same site to...)

The lady on the phone refused to give us a refund for one night, which is the least they could have done considering they received two payments for one site and left us high and dry at night. The best she could do is a verbal guarantee that they would have a free night for us "next year." Like (1) we would ever want to go there again, (2) we could trust their word (she refused to at least send some kind of a certificate or written proof.)

The place is crappy at it's best. But good luck getting help in case of emergency. You're on your own.
