Short Summary
Comments:
This was the first time I had ever been camping and this campground definitely helped to make it something I'd love to do again! It was extremely quiet, spacious and clean. It's a small, family-oriented campground nestled at the top/side of a mountain.

There are two cabins (which, I have to admit looked awesome) and lots of space for RVs, pop-ups and tents. The atmosphere is laid back and friendly. At check-in, I filled out a card and was simply told to mark it when I picked up ice, firewood or anything from the general store and then just pay at check out. I was shocked that a place could be that trusting.

There were facilities on the site for washing and drying our clothes, a trout pond, and a swimming pool that the kids really enjoyed. The bath house is the only thing I found a bit disappointing, but probably because I expected it to be similar to a dorm community shower. There were two showers and two changing areas. The changing areas were several feet from the showers and basically had no lighting. The bench in the changing area took up most of the space one would need to move around and actually dress. Having said that, it was very clean. There were three toilet stalls and all were very clean.

Any time we moved around the campground (going to the pool, general store, or bath house) people were friendly and the owners and their daughter were always asking if everything was going okay (we had told them it was our first time camping).

They were also able to help us make arrangements for whitewater rafting (with a discount) and some other tourist type things we were interested in doing.

All in all, I'd greatly recommend this campground to anyone!
