Short Summary
On site security, very nice cabins, lake, beach, tent sites, and seasonals. Nice store, great game room, basketball courts, activities. Used to have a dock and I miss this, but overall nice place.
Comments:
This park also has lots of permenent seasonal mobilehomes in it, but it doesn't distract from the park as they are spread out with large trees and overnight campers are not in the same area as the permenent seasonals. We stayed in a tent twice and a cabin more recently. It had microwave, air, small refrigerator, ect. Sites on beach are not shaded but the rest of the park is surrounded by big mature trees. Nice trails. Not too far from a town or store for shopping. Strict security doesn't allow youth to wander at night. There is a large tennis court, and paved roads but it still has a nice outdoorsy atmosphere and decent sized sites. Nice showers. It is a big deal to bring your own boat here though. They have some restrictions on the number of boats that can be on the lake so if you are an overnighter, check rules about bringing a boat before you come.
