Comments:
Another Kauai County campground at $3 per head per night, well worth the price. A great place to see this side of the Island from, pleasant weather usually, and a great swimming beach. A extra at this beach, is that it is often used by the protected Monk seal, easy to see here. Watching the seals isn't much to talk about, as the seldom move, just lay there and rest. Do not get close to these, as they are protected, & are usually roped off as soon as they come ashore. Camping is allowed on the left side of the beach, a well marked grassed lawn area, under the palm trees. One problem with this campground is that the outside cold showers do not have privacy fence.
