| Bio | We are a family owned beautiful 358 space RV Resort with a 20,000 sq. ft recreation hall with full accoustics and a floating wood dance floor. Tradewinds RV Resort is our sister park and is located right next door. You will not get more for your money in the Rio Grande Valley than at Mission Bell RV Resort or Tradewinds RV Resort. We have great prices that include free long distance telephone calls within the USA and to Canada, we have free unsecured and very inexpensive secured Wifi to nearly every site in our parks. We offer seasonal discounts and our fantastic amenities cannot be beat, especially for our small size. At Mission Bell and Tradewinds, there is no need to worry about waiting to play your favorite card game, to get in the pool or to do anything else because you will never experience over-crowding at our parks. Our managers are super, the people are friendly and our location is quiet yet close to major shopping, hospitals, restaurants and Mexico. We are so close to the Benston State Park, the International Birding Center and the world famous outdoor butterfly center. South Padre Island is just a short drive away for deep-sea fishing, para-sailing, sail boarding, wind-surfing, beautiful sandy beaches and more. The Rio Grande River, where fresh water fishing abounds, is a stones' throw away. Take a ferry ride, enjoy the scenic division between the US and Mexico or visit one of the restaurants on the river. Our parks are within minutes of the newest shopping mall in the Rio Grande Valley, the Rio Grande Valley Regional Hospital, and the McAllen Convention Center. We have it all. Join us by our sparkling swimming pools and therapy spas, for our twice-weekly dances to live bands; live comedy entertainers, and numerous variety shows from Branson Missouri and around the country. We also have shuffleboard, bingo, card games, bridge games, horsehoes, bocce ball, mens and womens pool hall and a huge commercial kitchen for large potlucks, dinner, pancake breakfasts and other social events. There are 4 golf courses with very inexpensive green fees nearby where you can swing your golf club to your heart's content without breaking the bank. We also have a full dance program where you can square dance, line dance or country western dance. We have full laundry facilities, mail room and much more.
